Gillian Hargreaves
Gillian has a degree in languages and entered the world of translation in 1981. Since those early days, the emphasis has gradually shifted from freelance work to translation management. At Zebra, Gillian has overall responsibility for the quality of translation output, but still keeps her skills honed by some hands-on translation
work as well.
As an experienced linguist, Gillian has dealt with material in the widest possible range of subject areas and languages, and knows how important it is to collaborate closely with clients and draw their attention to potential linguistic challenges and opportunities.
Gillian is a respected member of the UK translation community. A founder member of ITI (Institute of Translation and Interpreting), she also contributed to its work by spending two years on its Council, and is involved in educating newcomers to the world of translation.
Jill Wright
After several years working within the legal profession, Jill decided on a change and joined as Sales Manager to one of the world's largest translation agencies. Her portfolio of accounts included Jaguar Cars, Intel, Siemens, Napp Laboratories and Cummins Engines.
Three years later, Jill joined a large multinational corporation whose work focused on the IT, electronics and telecommunications fields. This broadened her knowledge and for the past ten years she has put all her experience, determination and enthusiasm into making Zebra a service provider that other companies can trust.
Having worked closely with some of the biggest names in the business, Jill understands that each client is unique and has individual needs and requirements. She and her co-directors have tailored their service to match and exceed client expectations.
